64 Senators-Elect have endorsed the candidature of Senator Ahmad Lawan as the President of the 9th Senate.

The senators led by Senator Orji Uzor-Kalu from Abia state signed to declare their endorsement.

Lawan is backed by many senators including Danjuma Goje who stepped down for him after a closed door meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday.
