2023: Minister Of Transportation, Amaechi Resigns

Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, has reportedly resigned from office, following the directive by president Muhammadu Buhari to cabinet members with political ambitions.

OSUN DEFENDER recalls that last week Wednesday, President Muhammadu ¹Buhari during the end of the weekly Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting in Abuja, directed members of his cabinet seeking political offices to resign on or before Monday, May 16, 2022.

According to report, Amaechi who has since declared to run for President in 2023, finally resigned on Monday.
