The presidential screening committee of the All Progressives Congress-led by John Odigie-Oyegun has denied screening the former president, Goodluck Jonathan.
This was revealed by Oyegun who stated this while submitting the report of the screening committee to the National Chairman of APC, Abdullahi Adamu at the ongoing meeting of the National Working Committee.
The head of the committee while addressing newsmen disclosed that Jonathan was not at Transcorp Hilton for the exercise.
Oyegun revealed this while stating that the ruling party has cut down the number of presidential aspirants from twenty-three to thirteen.
The former Governor of Edo State who refused to reveal the identity of those disqualified said that only youthful aspirants made the list of cleared aspirants.
The presidential aspirants cleared are expected to contest the presidential primary at a scheduled special convention in Abuja between June 6 and 8.
