Crystal Palace forward Wilfried Zaha has won the EA SPORTS Premier League Player of the Month award for April.

Zaha’s confirmation as April Player of the Month was announced on Premier League’s official website on Wednesday.

The 25-year-old claimed the award for the first time after four goals and one assist in four matches last month.

He beat off competition from Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang of Arsenal, Christian Eriksen of Tottenham Hotspur, West Brom’s Jake Livermore , Jordan Pickford of Everton, Manchester United’s Paul Pogba and Raheem Sterling of Manchester City.

On Tuesday, relegated West Bromwich Albion caretaker boss Darren Moore won the Manager of the Month award for April.

“Buzzzing to get my first @premierleague POTM award. Thanks for all your support! ? #CPFC #GodIsGreat,” Zaha tweeted moments after receiving his award.
