Gentlemen,

Following the show of shame put up in the name of a rally by the PDP in Ekiti state last week, for which one of it’s infantile leaders is still trying to extricate himself from the fall-outs of the misadventure, it’s pertinent to ask; when shall we have the authentic people’s rally of A.C. in Ekiti ?

While Dr Kayode Fayemi, his running mate and the Chairman of A.C. Chief Jide Awe have been doing a yeo-man’s job criss-crossing the state, we cannot wait for the visit of the A.C leaders for our campaign.

While, we aknowledge the fact of A.C’s popularity among the grassroots in Ekiti, we cannot rule out the possibility of having some undecided voters like the Americans would say, among our folks who need to be star struck in order to tilt their loyalty to either side.

This is what i believe the presence of such party stalwarts as Chief Bisi Akande, Chief Segun Osoba, Asiwaju Tinubu, Engr Rauf Aregbesola, Governors Fashola and Oshiomole and possibly Governor Mimiko (if political expediency permits) and other leaders on the rostrum in Ekiti will more than provide this star element and galvanise the electorate.

Like Idowu Akinlotan stated in his Palladium column in The Nation Newspapers recently, it’s the quality of names and not just mere names assemblage like the PDP’s that will do the magic.

I am persuaded that the presence of the afore-mentioned personalities alongside Mr Ayo Fayose our former governor will surpass a million Yaraduasss, Bankole, Bode George and Oyinlolas in it’s star effect.

All hands must be on deck in order rescue our dear state from the hands of the rapacious Poverty Developing Party and now is the time.

Thanks
