The apex lgbo socio- cultural organisation, Ohaneze Ndigbo, has warned the south East, south south youths to stop the secession agitation, saying that it will never work.
Rather, the body called on the youths to give support to the administration of President Mohammadu Buhari for him to have a look at the dilapidated roads in the zone.
Briefing reporters Friday in Awka, the chairman forum of state presidents of Ohaneze in the seven Igbo speaking states, Elder Chris Eluemunoh, said the group would never support agitation of Biafra as being demanded by the youth.
The seven states of Ohaneze included Anambra, Abia, Ebonyi, Enugu,Imo, Delta and Rivers.
Before now, the youths in the zone had held cities like Aba, Awka, Onitsha, Owerri, Enugu, Abakiliki, Asaba and Portharcourt hostage in the past weeks calling for the release of Nnamdi Kanu, Benjamin Onwuka and others by the federal government.
The youths were doing the demonstrations under the aegis of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) with few other members of the Movement for the Actualization of Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) involved.
However, the Ohaneze chairman Friday said that what the youths were doing could be described as pure madness, adding that it would have been a different ball game if they were protesting against the bad state of roads instead of agitation for Biafra.
According to Eluemunoh, “Ohaneze as Igbo cultural group cannot support insurgency, we are totally against it and we will never support it.
“Anybody that has any issue with the federal government should go for dialogue with the president and that is why we went for national conference, Nigeria is a one united country and we do not want any other.
“I believe what the youths are doing is to call the attention of the president to see the infrastructural decay in the zone, this region has been abandoned and neglected and not by Buhari, but by previous administrations started by Olusegun Obasanjo which Goodluck Jonathan also tried to bring back.
“Ohaneze is calling on the federal government to declare state of emergency in the zone on roads for purposes of infrastructural development and that is what the youths are saying, we believe and not secession.
“Our president should forget what happened in the last election and Ohaneze is going to give him full support through prayers and other means and in making sure that Nigeria stays as one indivisible entity.
“Therefore, the youths should stop such agitations for Biafra because Biafra died in 1970 and we are saying it again that Ohaneze will never support it,” Eluemunoh warned.
However, the group said if Nnamdi Kanu and others who were spearheading such agitation had committed any offence, they should face the law, but if not, they should be freed.
Furthermore, he debunked the allegation that the youths were being supported by top Igbo politicians, adding that if indeed they were getting any support from anywhere, it should be from outside Nigeria.
He said they believed that such restiveness by the youths could stop if roads like Oba-Okigwe road, Owerri – Portharcourt road which Ohaneze described as the worst in Nigeria were fixed.
“What they call agitation for Biafra is not in the dictionary of Ohaneze Ndigbo and we will never give it a look in, what Ohaneze is saying is that president Buhari’s administration should be supported to move this country forward,” said Eluemunoh.
Thousands of protesters took to the streets in Aba, the Abia State capital, yesterday, to demand the release of Mr. Nnamdi Kanu, who operated a radio station calling for a separate state of Biafra.
In Aba, the commercial hub of Abia State, some 2,000 people carried placards with slogans such as “Biafra or death” and waved the Biafran flag — a golden rising sun on red, black and green.
Others wore T-shirts and caps with the image of Nnamdi Kanu, the director of Radio Biafra and founder of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, pressure group. Some sang freedom songs and carried the outlawed Biafran pound currency. A protester reportedly tore a Nigerian flag.
“Getting our leader out of detention is our immediate concern, but ultimately we want to be free from Nigeria,” IPOB’s Abia coordinator, Ikechukwu Ugwuoha, told the crowds.
DSS ordered to produce Nnamdi Kanu
Meantime, an Abuja Chief Magistrate Court sitting at Wuse Zone 2, yesterday, ordered the Department of State Services, DSS, to produce the detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu, before it, on November 23.
Chief Magistrate Shauibu Usman, who gave the order, said he was disappointed that despite a subsisting order, the court made on October 23, the DSS still refused to produce Kanu yesterday.
Kanu who is the Director of Radio Biafra and Biafra Television, was on October 17, picked up in Lagos by security operatives, shortly after he arrived Nigeria from his base in the United Kingdom.
At the resumed sitting yesterday, the prosecution, failed to comply with the court order.
The prosecuting counsel, Mr. Moses Idakwo, told the court that Kanu was not brought before it yesterday due to the fact that there was a pending application, challenging the jurisdiction of the Abuja Magistrate Court to proceed with the trial.
He said the defendant would only be produced after the motion querying the jurisdiction of the court has been determined.
Tussle over defence
Also yesterday, two lawyers, engaged in war of words before the open court over who should be allowed to defend the IPOB leader.
The two legal practitioners, Mr. Gabriel Egbule and Vincent Ezechukwu Obete, claimed that they were duly briefed to handle the case.
Egbule, who was the first to announce appearance, told the court that he represented the accused person on October 19, the day he was arraigned.
He produced a letter which he said was written to him by next of kin to the defendant, which appointed him to act as the defence attorney in the matter.
On his part, Obete, produced an authorization letter from the IPOB, signed by its Deputy Director, Mr. Alphonsus Mefor.
UN, EU, ECOWAS intervention sought
Irked by the scenario playing out over Kanu’s continued detention , a coalition of human rights groups based in South East geo-political zone of the country has written the United Nations, UN, European Union, EU, Economic Community of West African States, ECOWAS, Papal Nuncio to Nigeria, United States of America, USA, United Kingdom, UK, Germany, Canada, France, Brazil, Japan, Australia and India, asking them to prevail on the Nigerian government to release Nnamdi Kanu from extra-judicial detention.
The coalition’s statement copied to the Chairman of the Board of the National Human Rights Commission, Abuja, Nigeria; Chief Justice of Nigeria, Supreme Court Headquarters, Abuja, Nigeria; National Security Adviser to the President, NSA Office, Abuja, Nigeria and the Attorney General of the Federation & Minister for Justice, AGF Office, Abuja, Nigeria, declared that:
“ Saddening is the reckless flouting and rapacious disobedience by the DSS of four court orders (production (twice), bail and transfer orders) made by the trial Magistrate between October 23 and 28, 2015.
“In the past seven days, mass protests involving millions of citizens of Nigeria including school children, women and the elderly have gripped major cities of Awka, Onitsha, Nnewi, Owerri, Umuahia, Okigwe, Enugu, Asaba, Uyo, Yenogoa, Port Harcourt, Benin and Calabar in South-East and South-South Nigeria as well as dozens of foreign capital cities over the continued detention of Nnamdi Kanu and in all these, President Muhammadu Buhari and his DSS have kept unholy sealed lips; in reminiscence of state of terror during his military days of 1984 and 1985”, among others.
Threat to democracy
The statement further stated that “arresting and detaining citizens outside judicial processes and pronouncements are the greatest threat to democracy and rule of law in Nigeria and a clear return of state terrorism in the country.
“This trend, if unchecked, will not only lead to lawlessness, but will also compound the country’s fragile contraption and further undermine and threaten its concocted and fragile statehood.
“The inability and unwillingness of the Buhari administration to frontally address these landmines may most likely possess the capacity to undermine the legitimacy of governmental powers and authority; which can be a recipe for civil disobedience and collapse of traditional state power and legitimacy.”
MASSOB is selfish —TIC
However, another pressure group, The Igbo Conscience, TIC, has deviated from the stance of MASSOB, stating instead that those behind the MASSOB protest across the South-East are not fighting the Igbo cause, but rather fighting for their selfish and personal interest.
The group said it is unfortunate that most of the characters involved in the protest had been brainwashed to believe that Biafra will be the solution to all their problems.
Addressing a press conference, yesterday, in Lagos, leader of the group, Monday Ubani said that the late Chief Odumegwu Ojukwu once described the Biafra struggle as no longer a physical fight, but a struggle of the mind.
Ubani stressed further that the protesters had no first hand experience of what it means to go to war which is why they had developed penchant for beating drums of war.
He stated, “It is not sheer coincidence that none of the prominent supporters of the Indigenous people of Biafra was in Biafra during the 30month civil war whose consequences are still there to see.”
Mbaka urged to apologise
Miffed by what it perceived as unguarded utterances by a Roman Catholic Priest, Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka against his fellow Igbo kinsmen in the current agitation against continued detention of the leader of IPOB, and Director of Radio Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, the Campaign for Democracy, CD, has given Fr. Mbaka a seven-day ultimatum within which to apologize to Igbo agitators or be sanctioned, adding that for now, apart from boycotting his prayer ministry in Enugu, Ndigbo should stop buying his products like yoghurt, candles, pure water, among other essential commodities being sold by Mbaka. .
In a press statement issued yesterday in Onitsha, Anambra State, CD’s South East Zonal Chairman, Uzor A. Uzor said it was unpardonable for Mbaka to have described Igbo youths as evil and demonic, just because they were agitating and protesting for immediate and unconditional release of Kanu, who was granted bail, but still being extra-judicially detained by the Department of State Services, DSS.
Northern youths react
Angered by their renewed attempt to resurrect an outlawed movement, northern youths have condemned the promoters of the new agitation to revive Biafra and divide Nigeria.
In a statement by its National President, Alhaji Gambo Gujungu, the AYF said it was highly disappointed by the heinous move by some selfish elements to cause avoidable crisis in the country.
Enugu – The 82 Division of the Nigerian Army has warned agitators for Biafra that they are now crossing the red line and that its officers and men are battle-ready.
The Acting General Officer Commanding (GOC) the division, Brig.-Gen. Ibrahim Attahiru, told newsmen in Enugu that the army would not fold its hands while such persons destroyed lives and property in the country.
“The warning to the agitators is to tell them that enough is enough,’’ Attahiru said, adding that it was inexcusable for troops to stand aside and watch the security situation deteriorate, leading to loss of lives or damage to peoperty.
“The Nigerian Army would like to send an unequivocal warning to all and sundry, more specifically to all those threatening and agitating for the dismemberment of the country, committing treasonable felony and arson.
“Once deployed, the Nigerian Army shall apply the rules of engagement to the letter in order for peace to prevail,’’ he said.
He noted that the agitators had recorded cases of lawlessness in Aba, Port Harcourt, Onitsha, Abakaliki and Enugu.
Attahiru said that the army took its time to adopt the present stand, saying that it was the primary duty of the police to maintain certain levels of security in the country.
South East governors Tuesday rose from a meeting in Enugu with a tacit decision to resolve the issue of the pro-Biafran protests by the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and the Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB).
They have also advised MASSOB/IPOB to tow the line of peace as it is the only way to ensure economic development of the zone.
The governors said they resolved to consult widely with “Ohanaeze, traditional rulers, development unions, clergy and other stakeholders on how to ensure lasting peace in the zone.”
In a communiqué which was read by Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo state, the governors assured: “In furtherance to this, the South East governors scheduled an emergency meeting of stakeholders on Sunday 22nd November, 2015 in Enugu.”
Attendance at the emergency meeting includes; all National Assembly members, all ministers and other invited guests from the zone.
They expressed concern about the poor state of the Federal Government roads in the zone namely Enugu-Onitsha Road, Aba-Ikot Ekpene Road, Owerri-Port Harcourt Road, Enugu-Port Harcourt Road and others which needed urgent intervention by the Federal Government.
The governors also resolved to appoint a high level Economic Advisory Committee to harness the economic potentials of the people of the zone working together.
In attendance were Governor Ifeany Ugwuanyi of Enugu state, Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia state, Rochas Okorocha of Imo state and the deputy governor of Anambra state, Nkem Okeke.
Pro-Biafra protesters yesterday, carried their “Release Nnamdi-Kanu” protest to Umuahia, the home-town of Nnamdi Kanu, marching through the major streets of the city, but under the watch of security agencies.
On Monday, 16th November, mother of Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and director of Radio Biafa, Ugoeze Nnenne Kanu, led the large crowd of protesters that grounded activities in Umuahia, the capital of Abia State, which happens to be Kanu’s hometown.
The protesters who marched peacefully around the city, carrying the portrait of Nnamdi and the Biafran flag while chanting songs of freedom, demanded the release of their son Nnamdi, who was arrested by the Department of State Security (DSS) over alleged anti-Nigerian government comments on radio Biafra.
Nnammdi Kanu’s sister, Princess Chichi Kanu, also joined the protest which started at about 5:30am at Ubakala. The protesters carried the Biafran flag and sang solidarity songs, marching through Isi Court, in Umuahia South, Old Umuahia Road, Aba Road, Umuwaya Road, Isi Gate, Bende Road, Enugu Road and Ama Hausa.
The protests is the latest of a series of protests that have been recorded in the South Eastern part of the country and parts of the Delta and Rivers State.
THE Urhobo nation yesterday denounced its membership in the proposed map of Biafra by the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB.
Making the position known yesterday in a statement, National Publicity Secretary of the Urhobo Progress Union, UPU, Alhaji Mumakai-Unagha, warned that Urhobo and its territories should be counted out from any IPOB plan.
“IPOB have their rights of agitation for freedom of self determination as enshrined in the united nation declaration stressing that other ethnic groups should not be dragged along to avoid the mistake that led to the civil war.
“The magnanimity of Urhobos in allowing Igbos celebrate the Igbo Cultural Day should not be taken for granted as we urge IPOB to delist Urhobo from its proposed map.”
The Rivers Elders and Leaders Council (RELEC) Chairman Chief Albert Horsfall and Secretary Lawrence Ibiayenie, yesterday warned that Port Harcourt should not be turned to a battle ground by pro-Biafran agitators.
The elders described the protests by members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) as uncalled for. Rivers people are not Biafrans, they insisted.
According to them, it is wrong to transport Igbo youths in trailers and buses from the five states in the Southeast zone, to protest in Port Harcourt, thereby halting commercial activities, destroy property and cause untold hardship for motorists, commuters and pedestrians.
RELEC said: “The attempt by these elements (IPOB members) to focus on Port Harcourt for their political rascality is totally unacceptable and is hereby condemned by Rivers Elders and Leaders Council. The action so far taken by the Biafran protesters in Port Harcourt is highly provocative to all genuine sons and daughters of Rivers State, who have so far restrained themselves from confronting the demonstrators in Port Harcourt.
“The choice of Port Harcourt (for IPOB’s protests) may be a deliberate ploy to make the Rivers State capital the battle ground for any fracas that may follow their rascality. We reject these moves in its entirety and hereby repeat our warning that they (Biafran protesters) must desist forthwith.
“Rivers State people are not Biafrans and had never been and will never be. The RELEC wishes to call on all elders and leaders of the states from which these youths have been pouring into Port Harcourt, for this unwelcome and unwholesome political rascality, to call their youths to order and forbid them from forever staging further demonstrations and protests in Port Harcourt and other parts of Rivers State.
“RELEC wishes to observe the good neighbourly relationship which has always existed between Rivers people and their neighbours. We wish that the cordial and mutually beneficial relationship should continue to exist. Persons responsible for the pro-Biafra protests must immediately halt the unfriendly activities forthwith.”
Rivers elders and leaders also stated that they “strongly” supported Wike’s ban of protests in Rivers state, which they said would go a long way to promote peace, thereby moving the state forward.
Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike in a broadcast on Wednesday banned further protests by IPOB members and demonstrations by other groups.
The Rivers Commissioner of Police, Musa Kimo, also noted that his command would not allow lawlessness or breakdown of law and order.
Senate minority leader Senator Godswill Akpabio also condemned the Biafran agitators.
Speaking at the venue of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) conference in Abuja, Akpabio, a former Akwa Ibom State governor, called on the Federal Government and the states where the militias are protesting to stop the spread of the agitation.
“The Biafra agitators must be told that those who witnessed the Nigerian civil war will never wish to experience another war in their entire lifetime.
“If you don’t like the government of the day, you must wait for another election to vote them out”, Akpabio said.
Due to some unedifying struggle for the title of Eze Ndigbo in some parts of the country especially in the South West zone, it was suggested that the title should be banned so as to quell the festering ember of disunity among Igbo, this, however, does not go down well with the Vice President of council of Ezendigbos in Diaspora(Southern Nigeria), Dr. Alex Anozie. In this interview, he adduces reason why the call should be ignored. Excerpts:
Yoruba hospitality incomparable
We, Ndigbo residing in Yorubaland which is in the Federal Republic of our great country Nigeria, appreciate so much the wonderful hospitality of the Yorubas in accomodating all other Ethnic groups in their domain very peacefully. All Nigerians of other Ethnic groups as well appreciate the fact that we have all made tremendous contributions together to bring peace, harmony and development within the whole Southwest, Lagos and Nigeria in general.
Ndigbo and the people of the SouthWest and Lagos have lived peacefully for centuries, we are also sure and certain that Yorubas and other Nigerians who reside in the Southeast part of Nigeria are feeling at home over there. We hereby appeal that wherever and whenever a mistake is made by anybody or group in our cordial relationship, we should look into it without any political or ethnic bias whatsoever and get it resolved amicably like brothers and sisters of one country Nigeria.
Eze Ndigbo in Oyo State
We give thanks to the Almighty God for his abundant mercy towards all of us, both Ndigbo in Ibadan and Oyo State and our very hospitable, the Ibadan people and the whole Yoruba race. We are thanking God for allowing us yet another opportunity to celebrate the New Yam festival and every other food items that God created and gave to man to eat and live.
Peace and tranquility
We are glad that we are celebrating it all in peace and in good health, thanks to God and the Oyo State government under the leadership of His Excellency. Senator Isiaka Abiola Ajimobi. Under this government everybody residing in the state is enjoying the atmosphere of peace and tranquility. We are also thanking God and the federal government whom since this very little period they came into power Nigerians are beginning to see things that seemed so difficult before now moving on.
I am particularly happy because of those suggestions I have made through my write-ups in newspapers in the past and present are been applied, whether it was through my own suggestion or other people’s own I am happy they are at work now. I continue to call on the Federal and State governments to agree to form committee of ethnic’s groups head in every state and be working with them.
Peace and harmony between them will work wonders because Nigerians listen to their head anywhere they are. Guns, tear gas and all other weapons may not easily get the same result. Thank God the Oyo state government has started by constituting and inaugurating such a committee which myself the head of Ndigbo in Oyo state is one of the members. I congratulate the government of Oyo state for that feat.
I am using this opportunity to assure both the state government and Kabiyesi Olubadan of Ibadanland of our unalloyed support and cooperation towards the continued peace and development of the whole state.
I thank my people Ndigbo, particularly the majority who have remained steadfast in their faith in God Almighty and me their servant all these years, I mean those who refused to be bought over with porridge and deceit. I thank all of us for the maintenance of peace and harmony with our host community and every other ethnic group in the state.
Appreciates Governor Ajimobi’s love
Now let me use this opportunity to thank His Excellency, the Executive governor of Oyo State Senator Abiola Ajimobi for donating to us two brand new buses for our use, we appreciate that a lot even though that one of the buses was given to our opponent brothers who refused to allow the application of due process in our affairs, they even refused to abide by the court judgment but they are still our brothers and we believe that one day, just one day the Almighty God will speak to them in a language they will understand and they will come back to our fold as we become one family of Ndigbo again.
Finally I am appealing to the good people of Yoruba race in particular and all Nigerians residing in this part of the country that whenever or wherever mistake is made by any ethnic group maybe against another, let us through our leaders try and sit down and talk it over with all sense of maturity as people of one great country Nigeria. I think it is best we do it that way and continue to live in peace and love for one another than applying quick and immediate action that may not give us the best result we all need in our country. Through dialogue we can achieve much.
On Eze Ndigbo, Deji of Akure crisis
Everybody is now aware of the misunderstanding going on in Akure between his Majesty, the Deji of Akure and Ndigbo residing there. Ndigbo and the Yoruba have for centuries lived peacefully together. Let us quietly and carefully look into the matter and find out any mistake made anywhere and get it resolved maturely and peacefully.
We, all ethnic groups leaders and association in Nigeria should always use our positions to foster only peace, love and unity among our different groups. That is what we need in this great country now more than any other thing. On the Akure issue, let us talk less and get it resolved amicably. The press too should help in this area by not blowing out of proportion the whole issue. Whoever that made a mistake should be pardoned because it is only God that is perfect in everything he does. We should all be peace loving Nigerians at all time. Let me once more appreciate the immeasurable hospitality of our host South West brothers and sisters while it is true that Ndigbo in the whole of South West and Nigeria have contributed immensely to the development and growth of every part of this great country.
Forces against Eze Ndigbo leadership
I can see some forces that are not happy about the cordial relationship that existed between Ndigbo and Yoruba for so long and they are doing everything to thwart it but God Almighty will never allow that. I am aware that some people who lost out in the struggle to be in this our Igbo leadership position may be having hands in this title confusion of recent.
Igbo unfairly treated
I am aware of Oba Yoruba in Abuja, Oba Yoruba in Kano, Oba Yoruba in Kaduna, Oba Yoruba in Owerri, Abakaliki and so on. So I am appealing that ordinary title (nomenclature) should not be an impediment to our long existing relationship.
I am calling on all Ndigbo in the South West and Nigeria as a whole to remain peaceful and law abiding with the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria as our guide and respect and have love for one another with our host communities.
Obey court judgment
Let all and sundry no matter whoever we are obey court orders and judgments. Let me come in here to appreciate our Nigerian Press, they are doing wonderfully well as they have helped in sustaining our democracy but while appreciating them, I want to appeal to them to always say no to anything that will make them lose the public confidence in them.
For example, some newspapers even electronic media are fond of dishing out to the public information that are not very factual, even in many occasions promoting what the courts have said should not be promoted. They should please put a stop to that because that is another very easy way of promoting crisis in our society. We all Nigerians must join hands together in promoting only those things that bring peace and harmony in our country.
Wherever we reside we all should join hands together in condemning evil and anything that brings setback to our country Nigeria.
In my position as the head of Igbos in Ibadan and whole Oyo state, also the Vice President of council of Ezendigbo in Diaspora(Southern Nigeria) I believe that we need peace and harmony everywhere in Nigeria.
Only yesterday the Catalan Assembly of the Catalonia Region of Spain voted to begin a process of separation from Spain.
The Spanish government did not roll out its raging military tanks or the booming Police AK 47s, the government spokesperson instead merely said that the Spanish government will approach the country’s Constitutional Court.
In Britain, the same country that manufactured Nigeria, after Scotland, just like Catalonia region of Spain has gained its own autonomous Parliament, it agitated for a total break away from Britain. The British put it into a referendum, the Scottish lost and the light of the agitation dimmed.
When are we going to start doing things the civilized way in Nigeria. No amount of bully-ish intimidation will work, this problem has been with us since 1966 and it has greatly affected the business of governance. So much our leaders have been nothing but crisis managers.
Let us put the issue of modalities for the existence of corporate Nigeria into a referendum. It is the civilized way to do this.
One system that has worked to a very large extent in countries with similar problem to Nigeria is real federalism based on creation of autonomous regions.
I am PRO BIAFRA if that’s the genuine wish of the majority of our eastern brothers and sisters.
People have a right (in fact, a sacred duty) to determine their destiny.
What constitutes Biafra, and how it can be attained can be fine-tuned.
Let’s not pretend that the current construct, Nigeria, a colonial legacy, is sacrosanct, ideal, and idyllic.
I am also pro-peace.
If we’re true democrats, what are we afraid of?
Some discussions are doomed because those involved fail to be objective, and at times, cannot identify the most vital issues. They get many strands mixed up.
A person, or a group may be pursuing something in the “wrong” way, that does not invalidate their rights to it.
If Nigeria had not been contrived decades ago, would you invent it now?
Nature provides us infallible guidance, but we don’t learn. The law of homogeneity, suggests that people who have similar values, culture, and nature, should be together. What’s held by force will ultimately break, because it disregards the free will.
Most nations and states are purely artificial, intellectual constructs.
Here, for example, a host of idlers, are ready to maim, kill, and destroy, because of Oil, which does not belong to them.
I cannot mince words. The world should be very afraid of Radio Biafra. Nnamdi Kano, real name, Nwannekaenyi Kenny Okwu-Kanu is a demon. Demons are known for their oratorship. Sweet tongues of the devil. With those tongues of serpents, they brain wash the weak and manipulate them to perpetrate the work of the devil. Radio Biafra does not work for the benefit of Igbos or actualization of any Biafra. Nnamdi Kanu, a psychopath, stole IPOB from the Council of Elders, led by Justice Eze Ozubu and stole the radio station which they directed him to set up on their behalf too to fulfill his demonic agenda. This theft along with him stealing the funds they gave him is why MASSOB kidnapped him, stripped him naked and spat and peed on him.
Have you ever listened to Radio Biafra? I advise you to resist and desist. You will hear evil stuff that is unholy for your soul. Nnamdi Kanu teaches his disciples like he is a prophet. He tells them Biafra is the “last miracle,” and that after Biafra, the world will cease to exist. What the freak!!??? What is scary about this is that his followers believe. They repeat it as he said it. I do not understand how the UK government allows the company to remain registered and operational despite the open calls for terror and to murder broadcast, including open recruitment of manufacturers of weapons of mass destruction.
He talks of triangles, that “all things happen in triangles,” like he did when he was fighting for the PDP and against APC taking over southern states, as you might have heard him say when he was soliciting guns and bullets at the Igbo World Congress meeting in Los Angeles this September.
I am sure you have heard, “give me Biafra or let me die.” What is that? This is Jim Jones type of talk. Nnamdi Kanu has taught his disciples to be suicidal. He can command them to carry out suicide bombings or even suicide for nothing and they will march to their deaths like zombies.
What made this most dangerous for our world is that the wicked, clueless Jonathan regime did nothing to check Nnamdi Kanu’s growth and successful use of his pirate radio to propagate his demonic gospel to vulnerable thousands of youth across the world and in Nigeria; whereas, Jonathan should have blocked his broadcasts to Nigeria and called on the United Kingdom to arrest him for open treason, propagation of terror and incitement, Jonathan supported him and fed him while likewise propagating an extreme agenda of hate. Nnamdi Kanu grew and became worse than Mohammed Yusuf, Osama bin Laden and Abu Baghdadi combined.
None of them had such a public media platform to indoctrinate and recruit fanatic terrorists across the world as he did. His disciples tell you, “don’t waste your time, Kanu has already fully radicalized us.” You will notice they are extremely vile and violent and quick to curse and promise death. These are signs of possession by the devil.
He selected which names God can be referred by; he chose Chukwu Abiama and Yashua, and all callers-in only use these two names. Whatever he preaches they follow. While he insults Christianity, he, as Hitler, knowing fully well that to galvanize world sympathy and local fellowship and better achieve his goals, he uses same Christianity to promote Biafra as a to-be Christian country; however his other words speak of a very eerie version of faith far from Christianity.
Nnamdi Kanu always makes reference to Boko Haram, a similar death cult as his inspiration. He defends Mohammed Yusuf, that he was only provoked by the government. I spent the past 2 years of my life fighting Boko Haram; I know a death cult when I see one. Radio Biafra is ten times worse than Boko Haram. The only thing that has saved us thus far is God who has overridden Kanu’s murder commands, thanks to the piety and morality of most of his Igbo listeners. Otherwise he would have long been drinking the blood he thirsts for.
Biafra is just a suitable rally point for this megalomaniac. He is using the disenfranchised and gullible Igbo followers to satisfy Lucifer. Some who have noticed have made Youtube videos and called him 666 since as far back as July this year.
Nnamdi Kanu’s station preaches hate like never seen before in the world. Kanu openly promotes for all converts to Islam to be killed in the South east, listing names of some including a chief and telling his followers to kill him. Thankfully the innate morality in them and the merciful God was able to stop them from obeying his commands at the time. Listen to one of his followers promise Kanu he will kill any random Hausa man. Kanu wanted the blood. Perhaps the guy killed someone. And we can imagine how many other times Kanu has gotten such blood. But today he wants much more.
He openly stated that in his Biafra all worship will be banned on any day other than Saturday; that whoever worships on another day will be expelled…and his followers bow to this. He calls black men evil and satan. He says Lucifer is a black man and that if he was a white man he would have killed all black African. And his followers hear this and follow him to their death.
He yabs the Ijaw as brainwashed, yet believes he has a right to reign over them; and surprisingly so do his disciples, drawing up a map of chosen territories and maintaining that all those within must and will be in their Biafra. Lord help them if they ever are.
He spins lies about any obstacle in his path to create a kingdom for Satan on earth, like Buhari, Okorocha and the APC party in general and once he throws out the lie, you see his disciples like blind sheep, propagating it as though they are devoid of brains. His retarded claims of Buhari being a pedophile is a typical example. The scary thing is how his disciples are like zombies; clearly being possessed by the devil. Once the station commands them to tweet, they tweet at anyone including foreign government officials across the world, not ashamed to make a nuisance of themselves in blind obeisance to his occult orders and his pestiferous mind.
Do you know he reads the Bible he does not believe and quotes verses from within which he claims are talking about his role and Biafra?
He has taught his followers that “Biafra” is a religion and they repeat it and bow to it. Once the radio station announces a death wish on any one of us, the members start running around looking for addresses and planning to kill the people the cult has declared on its hit list.
He lied to his followers that they originated from a Biafra and they swallow it hook line and sinker in spite of the country Portugal named Biafra being limited to Cameroon, Equatorial Guinea and Gabon and no ancestral history ever relayed or old map showing Biafra in Nigeria, with the name being adopted by Ojukwu only because a certain Ijaw Frank Opigo suggested; but his followers will receive any gospel he submits. There are potentially as many as 50,000 to half a million Radio Biafran cultists on the planet. This is unprecedented.
The danger to humanity cannot be over emphasized Satan whispered to him to go to Lagos and arrange his arrest to fulfill the agenda; and so he went. Nnamdi Kanu never made as little as a hashtag seeking a referendum. He never followed civil ways; his way was the way of Lucifer. He plotted war, he bought guns, he wants blood. He drank the blood Boko Haram, his partners spilled and now he wanted to shed his own.
People think they are protesting for Biafra, but these people never protested when they were suffering and had real reason to protest. They are not protesting for Biafra, but for Nnamdi Kanu and for Nnamdi Kanu to have his kingdom for his master, Lucifer.
When you remember or read the story of Jim Jones and the Guyana tragedy, you will understand who Nwannekaenyi Kenny Okwu-Kanu is and where he is headed with thousands of our poor brethren.
