Ife North LG Boss Grabs Land?

By Sodiq Lawal

There have been rumours by members of the PDP trending in every nook and cranny of Ife North Local Government Area in State of Osun alleging its former Executive Secretary, Hon Taiwo Orosanya of selling lands belonging to the government at Akinola area in the local government.

In an exclusive interview with the Information Officer of the local government, Mr Olonade Babatunde who spoke on his behalf, Hon Orosanya denied the allegations, adding that the rumours are untrue and only meant to defame him.

According to him, “the land was not sold. The chairman discovered that the land had been taken over by some intruders and he opened up the land and named it Omoluabi Residential Scheme.

“The profits he got from the land was used to buy 7 transformers for 7 communities in Ife North, 4 bore holes, embarked on building a scheme acquisition for the physical challenge people and others.

” Those accusing him are ignorant and envious of him. The land was not sold, we only opened it up.”
