Suspected Internet Fraudster Crushes 2 Policemen To Death In Osun

Tragedy struck in Ilesa, State of Osun was thrown into mourning as a suspected internet fraudster identify as Olumuyiwa crushed two policemen to death.
It was also learnt that he was driving recklessly and wanted to evade arrest of the officers of the Federal Road Safety Corps when he rammed the duo down.
It was gathered by our correspondent in Osogbo that the two police officers identified as Sergeant Hayatu and Sergeant Moshood Adesanmi were on their official duty as part of the high patrol team when they met their fate.
The Divisional Police Officer in charge of Ayeso A’ Division, Mr Idowu Adedeji, confirmed the incident on Wednesday.
He said ”the officers, sergeant Hayatu and Sergeant Adesanmi were attached to the highway patrol team were not fortunate like the men of Federal Road Safety Corps and Vehicle Inspection officers who narrowly escaped death.
“The driver has been apprehended by the police, and presently being interrogated, in which he would be charged to court thereafter”.
In the same vein, the sector commander of FRSC, Mr. Tony Oko confirmed that the two policemen were crushed and died on the spot.
“We have also went to the Osun State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Fimihan Adeoye to commiserate with him for the lost of his officers.
