Residents Rejoice Over Grading Of Roads By Olorunda North LCDA

Residents of Oke-ola and other neighbouring communities of Olorunda North Local Council Development Area (LCDA) trooped out in joyous mood on Monday, as the administration of Hon Qadri Owonikoko in Olorunda North Local Council Development Area (LCDA) flagged off the grading of the roads linking the communities.

The roads are, Oke Ola, back of Total, old Ikirun road, Fatai Oladejo street, Jadesola Ajala street, Gafari Olabiyi street among others in Ward 8, Ota-Efun, Osogbo.

The development, according to the chairman, falls under the Phase II of road grading to complement the opening up and grading of some other roads earlier attended to.

Owonikoko, while inspecting the grading exercise said, it was in line with the commitment of his administration to ensure that the people of the council get dividends of democracy to the fullest.

According to him, his administration has been embarking on series of developmental projects that would improve the peoples’ standard of living, socially and economically.

The council boss added that his administration would continue to serve the people interms of provision of their needs in line with the campaign promises made to the people during electioneering.

He then urged the people to also support the government at the state and local levels, as well as the All Progressives Congress (APC), particularly in the coming governorship election in the state, with a view to guaranteeing the continuity of developmental programmes and projects in the state.
