Police Arrest 5 Motorcycle Thieves In Ile Ife

The Police Division at Moore in Ile Ife has arrested 5 suspects over alleged robbery and receiving of stolen motorcycles.

In an exclusive interview with the Area “A” Commanda of the Police Moore Division, Funsho Adegboye said the suspects were arrested by the command’s Special Anti-Robbery Squad at Gbodo in Ile Ife.

He said following credible information from members of the public, five suspects were arrested.

He added that the suspects were believed to be members of a syndicate that specialised in stealing and sales of stolen motorcycles.

Adegboye explained that two of the motorcycles were recovered from the suspects, and assured members of the public that the police were on top of the situation to apprehend other members of the syndicate to halt their activities in the town.

He said further that the  suspects were helping the police with information and would be arraigned in court as soon as investigation is concluded.
