Plateau United captain Elisha Golbe says the team must improve on their home form if the want to win the NPLF back to back.

The Jos club, who are currently the defending champions have lost all six away games this season, without scoring a goal and currently sit in 10th position in the table,  eight points behind new and surprise leaders Lobi Stars but still have two outstanding games to be played.

Plateau United were lost heavily by  3-0 to FC IfeanyiUbah in their last away fixture in Nnewi on Sunday.

Kennedy Boboyes men will look to get back on track when they host Yobe Desert Stars in a rescheduled match day 11 fixture in Jos on Wednesday.

“We are not happy with our performance in away games this season and if we want to successfully defend our title we must start winning games on the road,” Golbe told Completesportsnigeria.com.

“I’m particularly disappointed with the outcome of our last game against FC IfeanyiUbah and I believe we owe our fans apology for our disappointing showing in the game.

“We are determined to turn things around and I believe things will get better for us in subsequent games.”
