PDP Still In Troubled Waters As Meeting Holds Without Sheriff

PDP Still In Troubled Waters As Meeting Holds Without Sheriff

Regardless of the united fronts that the Peoples Democratic Party has painted to the nation after the case of leadership ended at the supreme court, it seems there is still no unity as members have taken to sides. The former national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) who was recently sacked by the Supreme Court Ali Modu Sheriff, was noticeably absent from the party’s caucus meeting which took place on Monday, July 17.

The venue of the meeting was the party’s Abuja National Secretariat. The meeting was attended by senior members of the party including ex-president Goodluck Jonathan, serving governors and ex-governors.

This does not erase the fact that perhaps Ali Modu Sheriff hasn’t been forgiven.
