Osun Workers Resume, Holds Inter Religious Prayer

Workers in the state of Osun on Tuesday, resumed work after a five days strike.

The workers had embarked on the strike on December 28 over the half salary being paid by the State government and some delayed promotions and had called the strike off after an agreement was reached by the State government led by Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola and the labour unions over the weekend.

As part of the events to mark the strike call off and the beginning of work in the New Year, the workers held an inter-religious prayer at the State Secretariat in Abere.
