Osun NURTW Boss Denies Link With Murder

The Chairman, National Union of Road Transport Workers, (NURTW), Lagos Unit 001 Oroki, Branch, Railway Park, Osogbo, Comrade Kazeem Oyewale popularly known as Asiri Eniba has denied any involvement in the death of one Biola Igboho and pleaded with media to stop linking him with the unfortunate incident saying the reports particularly on social media has being portraying him as a murderer.

Oyewale said he has no relationship whatsoever with the death of Biola Igboho and only heard about it on social media like any other person.

The NURTW boss in a statement said he has no choice than to publicly respond and clear his name lamenting that the reports have put in life in risk and subjected him to harassment from security agencies.

He said” I deem it imminent to come out and clear my name over the death of one Biola Igboho, the has been widely linked to me on the media to save my self from undeserved embarrassment and security risk as a result of the stories in the media especially social media.”

“I want to state categorically this story has been unjustly linked to me which led to several invitations from the security agencies and at their various preliminary investigation, I was exonerated but some section of online media has continue to linked me to this ridiculous and unfortunate narratives.”

“The reports has exposed me to unexpected attack and unpredictable security risk, I have suffered humiliations and unimaginable attacks from the people without knowing any thing about the incident.

” I am using this opportunity to tell the whole world that I don’t know anything about his death and I am not a criminal as some section are portraying me in the media, I am a law abiding citizens doing my legitimate transport business. I am using this medium to appeal to the rumour mongers to excuse me from the incident.”

” The blackmails, no doubt are from my competitor and enemies in the race for NURTW positions, and I know it can’t last forever because I am so confident that further investigation will exonerate me.”

“I appeal to the media to be fear and just over this matter as I know nothing about the death of Biola Igboho.” Oyewale said

It would be recalled that one Biola was allegedly killed by some suspected criminals on June 5 around Okefia, Osogbo few weeks ago which led to various reprisal attacks by the gun men in the state capital.
