Orolu LG Chair Signs MoU With Contractor On Rural Road Construction

The unprecedented move by the administration of Honourable Adekunle Benson in Orolu Local Government Council Area of the state of Osun to delivered dividends of democracy to his people has earned Ifon-Orolu community the construction of a 52-kilometer of road projects through Osun Rural Access and Mobility Project (O’RAMP) in collaboration with the World Bank and French Development Agency (AFD).

To this effect, the Executive Chairman of Orolu local government, Prince Adekunle Benson has signed Memorandum of Understanding with a construction company, BON Qualite Limited for the construction of Janta-Okiti-Adara-Oowe-Idiiya.

The memorandum was signed at the local government Secretariat, Ifon recently.

In a statement issued by the Chairman’s Media Aide, Waheed Alao, the council boss charged the Contractor, Mr Shahii to do the work diligently and construct quality road project because users of the road will increased immediately after the completion of the projects.

He eulogized the governor of the state, Ogbeni Aregbesola for the unprecedented developmental projects which he has extended to Orolu community, assuring the governor that Orolu people would continue to support him and his government.

O’RAMP is a credit finance projects of the World Bank and French Development Agency (AFD) assisted project brought up for the provision of access to rural areas of the state.
