Oranmiyan Postpones Ramadan Lecture Over Security Threat

A noble socio-cultural group within All Progressives Congress APC, in the State of Osun, Oranmiyan has postponed its 5th Ramadan Lecture schedule to hold on Saturday, May 8, 2021, follow the security threats in the State.
Oranmiyan made the announcement in a press statement released by Director-General, Oranmiyan Worldwide, Sadiq Olajide, and made available to Osun Defender Correspondent in osogbo on Wednesday.
The statement reads, “We write to inform the general public, particularly members, supporters and admirers of Oranmiyan Worldwide and those of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the State of Osun that the 5th Ramadan Lecture of this noble socio-cultural group has been postponed.

“The postponement became necessary mainly for security reasons. The 5th Ramadan Lecture was to hold on Saturday, May 8, but will no longer hold”.

However the group commended members of the Oranmiyan group and lovers across the length and breadth of the State of Osun who had been committed to the date of the programme and making efforts to ensure that it was successful.
