Nigerian Striker Makes MLS Team Of The Week

The Nigerian and Portland timber striker fanendo Ali made the MLS team of the week one of the United tops’ division.

The Nigeria international netted his brace in the last three minutes of the game,  scoring in the 91st and 93rd minutes of the game.

Dating from last season, the 26-year-old has scored in six straight home matches.

For his performance, the former AS Trecin and Fc Copenhagen star was included in the MLS Team of the week while one of his goals, he second in the game was nominated for Goal of the Week.

The Portland Timbers will next face Lx galaxy on Monday, March 13 at the StubHub Center, Carson, California.

 Adi is yet to play for the super eagles but in the squard to face Egypt in as Nations 2017 Africa cup  qualifier in March 2016.

He has two caps for Nigeria U-23.
