Nigeria’s Super Eagles on Friday defeated the Lones of Liberia in their first group C match of the FIFA World Cup qualifying match.
Kelechi Iheanacho’s double in the first half sealed victory for the Eagles.
Nigeria now tops Group C after the Central African Republic and Cape Verde played out a 1 all draw.
The Eagles will now play Cape Verde next on Tuesday.
