A Magistrate Court in Osogbo has sentenced a 32-year-old man, Adeosun Saheed to one month imprisonment for stealing N10,000 and one itel phone valued N12,000.
Saheed was docked on four count charges bothering on stealing to which he pleaded guilty.
The prosecutor, Olayiwola Rasaq informed the court that the accused person committed the offence on 19th June 2018 at about 9pm at Obate Area, Osogbo.
He said the accused stole N10,000, one itel phone valued N12,000 from one Owolabi Kamarudeen, an offence contrary to section 516 of criminal code cap 34 vol.11 laws of Osun state of Nigeria.
His counsel pleaded with the court to temper justice with mercy, saying the culprit would turn a new person if given another chance.
Mr O. Oladoke sentenced him to one month imprisonment.
