Kidnapped Federal College of Forestry Mechanization Students, Afaka Kaduna regain freedom

Students of the Federal College of Forestry Mechanization, Afaka Kaduna that were reported kidnapped about 25days ago regain freedom.

News has it that only five of the 39 kidnapped students were rescued by the military troop after 25days in captivity.

The new development was officially confirmed on Monday evening by Mr Samuel Aruwan, the State Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs in a statement made available for journalist.

In his statement, Mr Samuel said, “The five students were recovered by troops of the Nigerian Army on Monday afternoon.

“The five students rescued by the troop are undergoing compulsory medical check up at a military facility in Kaduna, Kaduna State.”

News has it that, the Nigerian Army has duly informed the Kaduna State Government of the new development of both their rescue and the compulsory/thorough medical check up in a military facility.

Mr Samuel Aruwan, in his reactions to journalist said, “If there is any update on further Operation and plans, the State Government will graciously make it available”.
