Congratulating Oyetola on behalf of Iyalojas in the state, Alhaja Asindemade implored him to continue with the developmental stride of Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola.

Iyaloja said: “The government should be all inclusive and know that there is no victor or vanquish, as he is governor of the state of Osun and not of a party.

“Also, the Iyalojas should be given prominence in the government and priority should be given to women welfare in the state, as they form largest percentage of voters in the state.

“More elective posts should be given to women, especially in the administration of the state.

“The continuous construction of road networks around the state should be his priority, especially the state and local government roads. If possible, let the government make it 30 0r 40 km road networks within each local government to facilitate easy movement of human and goods.

“In the area of sanitation, the waste collection and management needs to be improved on, as there is need for smaller vehicles or tricycle to collect wastes from nooks and crannies of the state.

“Our educational system should be reviewed to accommodate vocational training, while abandoned public schools across the state should be maintained, to ensure that they are not turned hideouts for criminals in some of the community they are located.

“The government could as well use those facilities as government vocational centres across the state.

“There should be consultative forum inform of town hall meeting where governor, member of House of Assembly, local government chairmen, councilors and other stakeholders would discuss issues that affect the people and the government.

“This will facilitate unity and understanding between the government and the citizen of the state.

“Also, it is important for the government to review the issue of customary court. This is an important aspect that facilitates peaceful mediation among our people.

“While we commend the effort of the state government on issue of civil servants in the state, we urge that the government should strive to ensure that full payment of salaries, pension arrears as and when due is guaranteed, as it has been started now.

“We also implore the government to patronize local artisans and traders as done in school uniform sector, where the government contracted tailors in the state”, Asindemade said.
