India Arrests Nigerian Over Hard Drugs

The police in Pune, India has arrested one Olumide Christopher Kayode, a Nigerian for alleged possession of cocaine worth Rs 5.29 lakh (N29.2 million).

Kayode was arrested at his residence by the Anti-Narcotics Cell of Pune City Police’s Crime Branch while acting on intelligence.

As as the time of the arrest, Kayode was in possession of 52.980 grammes of cocaine worth Rs 5,29,800 (N29.2 million)
Other items recovered from him include three cell phones and an electronic weighing machine.

Kayode was allegedly selling cocaine and a probe is on to find out where he was buying the drug from, police said.
