FG Approves N45bn To Clear Airways Workers’ Backlog

The federal Government okays N45 billion to settle Airways workers of Outstanding payment owed workers of the defunct Nigeria Airways.

Hadi Sirika the Minister of State for Aviation, briefed State House correspondents at the end of the FEC meeting chaired by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo at the Presidential Villa.

According to him, the Minister of Finance, Kemi Adeosun, has been given directive on the payment to workers of the defunct Nigeria Airways

The workers had staged protests against the over 20 years debt owed Nigeria Airways
