Etebo Optimistic Stoke City Will Bounce Back From Winless Streak

Oghenekaro Etebo is confident that Stoke City will bounce back from their poor start to the 2018/19 English Football League Championship season.

After four games in the Championship, the Potters have recorded two draws and two defeats, a poor run which has left the club languishing in the bottom rung of the table.

The Nigeria international has made one start and three substitute appearances since joining Sgoke City from C.D Feriense.

He admits that the start to the campaign has been tough but tips the club to bounce back starting with a win against Hull City on Saturday.

“The start of the season has been a bit tough but we will get things right,” Etebo told CSN.

“We will be out to get a win like we have always aimed at.”

Etebo is expected to be named in Nigeria’s squad to face Seychelles in September away in an 2019 African Nations Cup qualifier.
