Ejigbo LG Embarks On Massive Grading Of Roads

The Executive Chairman, Hon. Gbenga Ayegbayo-led administration in Ejigbo Local Government Area of the State of Osun has embarked on massive road grading across the nooks and crannies of the Local Government.

The flag off exercise of the road grading, which attracted jubilations from the general public began from Boosa road, Ward 3, went through Old Ijimoba road, Ward 2, Gedu area, Oke-Itunu Ward One among other areas.

According to a statement by the Information officer of the council, before the intervention of the council management, the deplorable condition of the roads had jeopardized the economic, health and social status of the people of the area

The council boss who could not hide his feeling reiterated his promises to the people of the area during his electioneering campaign, to make life more meaningful and convenient for them, saying, no stone would be left unturned to ensure the economic, health and social development at every area of the council.

Ayegbayo assured the people that business transactions would be made easy, which will in no small way increase the gains and reduce the pains of every business sector.

He however, solicited more cooperation and supports of the people for the government of the day.

Among those who witnessed the flag off of grading exercise were, the leader of the Local Government parliament, Hon. Okunlola Adeyeye, other members of the parliament: Hon. Teslim Ogunmola (Vice-Chairman), Gboyero Ajala (Deputy Leader), Sunday Ojetola, Sunday Ayaji and Jamal Olajide. Others are the Council Manager, Builder M.O. Tijani, Mrs. S.B. Adeyemo, HOD Social Development and Information, Comrade S.O. Oyebamiji, HOD Administration and General Services, Engr. O.S. Tinubu, HOD Works and Transport, Comrade Taofeek Kareem, the branch Chairman of NULGE, traditional and religious leaders, market men and women, APC leaders, among others.
