“New arrivals and up-coming artistes in the music profession should try to carve special identities for themselves rather than imitating the styles of other musicians “Further, since music is a profession for the serious and creative minds, musicians should steer clear of any acts that are capable of tarnishing their image.”

This piece of  advice was given by Alhaji Isiaka Ayinla aka Easy Kabaka at his Ita-Ogunbo, Ilorin residence during an interview recently.

According to Alhaji Kabaka, musicians should also display honesty of purpose with their business partners. Kabaka the Grandcommander of Fuji music in Kwara State and the National Treasurer of Fuji Musician Association of Nigeria started his music career in the 60’s and has many fuji records and awards to his credit.
