Following the endorsement of Francis Fadahunsi as the Senatorial Candidate for Osun East by the Peoples Democratic Party, for next year’s elections, some members of the party in Ile Ife have described the action as impunity taken too far.
According to the aggrieved members who craved anonymity on Monday, they frowned at the purported “imposition” on members.
As a result, the aggrieved members of the party are set to defect to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
They cited confusion, imposition, leadership crisis, lack of focus and no desirable agenda for Ife sons and daughters, as the reasons for their decision.
