Commercial Motorcyclists popularly known as Okada riders in the State of Osun took to the streets of Osogbo, the state capital on Tuesday to protest the new N200 daily ticket fee introduced by the state government.

The Okada riders under the auspices of their association told journalists after staging a protest at the popular Olaiya junction of their displeasure over the new fees.

They urged the state government to bring down the new daily ticket fees as well as work assiduously to counter the recent security challenges plaguing the state.

The commercial motorcyclists appealed to Governor Gboyega Oyetola to come to their aid and look into other ways the state can generate revenue internally.
