Buhari Is Working Inspite Of Paucity Of Fund – Owa Obokun Of Ijesaland

The Owa Obokun of ijesaland, Oba Dr Gabriel Adekunle Aromolaran, has lauded the federal government economic recovery efforts, with particular reference to the anti-corruption fight of President Mohammudu Buhari, the monarch opined that sanity is beginning to be the other of the day in the country.

He urged the Federal Government to expend all the money recovered from looters to avoid being affected by inflation.

The frontline monarch stated this while speaking with newsmen in his home in Ilesa when the Minister of Health Professor Issac Adewole paid him a visit to congratulate him on his 80th Birthday celebration.

Oba Dr Adekunle Aromolaran said the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari has been working inspite of paucity of fund.

Speaking, Minister for Health, Professor Issac Adewole congratulated the monarch on achieving the octogenarian milestone. He said the importance of traditional rulers cannot be overemphasized as they are closer to the people than the government.

Correspondent reports that the minister who acknowledged elderly people are assets to the nation noted that it is important to tap from their wealth of experience. He said, governments at all level at one time or the other have made significant breakthrough in some of their programmes with the assistance and cooperation of traditional rulers. He said his ministry was able to record success in the area of polio immunization.

According to the minister, “Nigeria did not make a breakthrough with polio immunization until government brought in traditional rulers”.

The health minister thanked the people of Osun for their continuous  support for  the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari and Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola
