Bandits have killed a member of the Kaduna State House of Assembly, Rilwanu Aminu Gadagau.
He represents the Giwa West Constituency.
The Speaker, Yusuf Ibrahim Zailani, said Gadagau’s body was discovered at a morgue in Kaduna on Wednesday.
According to a statement by the Speaker’s Special Assistant Media and Publicity, Ibrahim Dahiru Danfulani, the lawmaker died during bandits attack along Zaria highway on Monday night.
“This is tragic and painful. We are in deep grief over this sad incident. Our prayers at this time go to his immediate family.
“Honourable Gadagau was a young and dynamic lawmaker, who had a passion for his constituency, state and Nigeria,” Zailani said.
