Governor, State of Osun, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola will tomorrow, Tuesday, 6th March commission the reconstructed Olaiya/Odi-Olowo/Asubiaro/Ita-Olokan road in Osogbo, the state capital.
Nicknamed “Workers Drive”, the road according to a statement by the commissioner for Information and Strategy, Mr Adelani Baderinwa is to be officially opened for vehicular movement in commemoration of the 40th anniversary of the Nigeria Labour Congress.
The road flagged off for reconstruction and upgrade on November 27, 2016 was named after the state workforce for persevering with the government during the financial quagmire that hit the state late 2014.
Baderinwa however urged citizens of the state to be at the Isale Osun junction, venue of the programme while workers should also attend to show gratitude to the government.
