Now is the time for President Muhammadu Buhari and the north to reciprocate the support from the Yorubas.
This was the position of some traditional rulers in Ondo State when the delegation of the South-West Agenda (SWAGA 23) paid them a courtesy visit yesterday.
The Osemawe of Ondo Kingdom, Oba (Dr.) Victor Kiladejo and the Abodi of Ikaleland, Oba George Faduyile, both received the South-West Agenda (SWAGA) delegation in their respective palaces led by the former Minister of Works Dayo Adeyeye.
While responding the Osemawe, Oba Victor Kiladejo said it was important for all politicians in the South-West, especially the Yorubas, to shun enmity and discord among themselves to achieve the ambition.
On his part, the Abodi of Ikaleland, Oba George Faduyile said Tinubu is capable to be President of the country. He further noted that, it would be wicked and saddening if the northerners would support another person against Tinubu.
In his words, “Tinubu has been supporting President Muhammad Buhari and the North for years, now is the time for the North and Buhari to reciprocate the good political gesture and support him,”
He said that the only way the South-West could get it right is to support Tinubu.
Oba Faduyile noted that no traditional ruler in the six states of the South-West geo-political zone would oppose the candidature of Tinubu.
